8. Chameleons
Chameleons are known and loved for their ability to change color according to their environment. This is a defense mechanism used to camouflage them from predators. Chameleons are very sensitive creatures, and can be easily frightened or injured. It is very important to treat them with great care, including making sure they are always properly hydrated. Cuban false chameleons grow up to 7 inches and cost around $500.
