6. Key Biscayne
Located south of Miami Beach, Key Biscayne is considered as one of the lowest points of elevation in Florida. It is usually one of the first places to be evacuated in case of a hurricane. Large residential developments started here during the 1940s which made the area very expensive. There are several large hotel and condominium groups found in Key Biscayne.
