5. NYC Riding Academy
About halfway through our list of horseback riding lessons for kids and adults in NYC we have The NYC Riding Academy which is located on Ward’s Island near the city’s Upper East Site. It is conveniently open seven days a week; from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The NYC Riding Academy has their doors open for riders starting from 4 years, and they have different programs like weekend classes, private instructions, summer programs and after-school programs. Along with horseback riding lessons, here you will also learn feeding, tacking, lunging and barn management among other things. On top of everything, you can also organize a memorable birthday party here because they are available for special events.
