4. Mercy Center
Empowering women and their families is the goal of Mercy Center, the next one on our list of free training programs in NYC for adults. They have been true to their mission since Mercy Center was founded in 1990. Included in their workforce readiness program is English for Speakers of Other Languages and the skills for employment success. Not only women are helped by Mercy Center, as they have helped men and children and a whole lot of families through their counseling program as well.
