Over at the Dance Source studio, that ranks 8th on our list of cheap ballet classes in NYC for adults, you can learn a lot of styles on top of ballet, such as pointe, jazz, modern dance, hip-hop, tap, Bollywood and more. There’s even a Zumba class.
An individual class costs $19.50, but larger packages bring the price per hour down some. For instance, a 10-hour card costs $185 and is valid for 4 months, while a whole semester of classes with a 1-hour per week attendance costs $350.
Regularly, the adult ballet classes are scheduled in the evening so they take into consideration your work schedule so you have time to actually attend. Classes take place at the studio on Queens Boulevard with 65th Avenue.
