The job is one of the best part-time jobs for social work students in NYC and involves setting program goal and developing appropriate activities for children, collaborating with colleagues to plan team projects and events, escorting kids on trips and identifying opportunities for learning the grounds of the school.
You’ll also have to maintain records of children’s work, submit portfolios for evaluation and more.
To get the job you’d need to have at least a high school diploma and have some college credits under your belt. It’s also an advantage if you have two years direct experience working with children under 12-16 years of age.
