4. Outreach Assistant / Student Series
Salary: $24,000 – $30,000
There are a few open positions as outreach assistant post at the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. What you’d need to do if you were to get the job is to make phone calls and send emails to targeted contacts for Pennies for Patients, raising money for the fundraiser. The end mission is to fund the research to find cures for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease, and myeloma, as well as ways to improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
You’d need to have a high school degree, some experience as a telemarketer, sales or customer service, and a drive to make things happen, especially since the cause you’re calling for left and right is extremely important.
