The job requires at least two years of college, with a concentration on pre-health science or psychology, or six years related experience. They’d also like it if you had some experience with patient intervention in a psychiatric setting, have CPR skills and be able to communicate effectively.
For the job, you’ll have to chat up the patients, help them get accustomed to the unit and the hospital, assist them with personal hygiene, housekeeping, meal times and so on.
