8. Cairo
Even though it was a city to avoid recently because of the political and social turmoil, Cairo is a great holiday destination. There are the scenic Nile setting and great architecture in the city. There are also some great treasures with Egypt’s museums and Giza pyramids that make Cairo a truly awesome destination.
