6. Command & Conquer Tiberium Alliances

This one on our list of best Chromebook Google apps for gaming isn’t a game that’s made by a small studio, or an indie company. No, this one is made by Electronic Arts. Like many of the others, you’ll basically just add an icon on the screen taking you to the web page where you can play the game, but that’s of little consequence. The game puts your commanding skills to the test, letting you fight for resources and world dominations, urging you to make decisions that will make you or break you. You have to build up a base, make sure your resources are provided at a pace you need and so much more. There are both PvP and PvE battles available, which makes it that much more interesting.

If you’re a lover of the “game of the mind,” then Sparkchess 9 is your thing. As you start things off, you get to choose your opponent, depending on what type of game you’re looking for. One choice will give you a beginner-level opponent, while another will give you a quick-paced game that you’ll finish before you get to the bottom of your coffee cup. The game also offers chess lessons, but you’ll have to pay for the full version if you want those.
