3. Mokuchi
Continuing on our list of 7 woodworking classes in NYC and NJ, we have Mokuchi. Moku is a Japanese word that means wood and Chi is vital energy in ancient Chinese, hence Mokuchi. A professional woodworker named Yann Giguere founded Mokuchi in 2008. Woodworking here is inspired by and specializes in Japanese woodworking traditions. If you are a beginner, you will be introduced to the basic tools and also about traditional hand tools.
