Conspiracy theorists must not be very busy in their day to day lives if they have the time to come up with all these crazy ideas about the world we live in, such as these 7 theories about the Illuminati and the New World Order.
To get things started, we’re going to talk about both the Illuminati and the New World Order, separately. The first is a fictitious group whose name literally means the “enlightened.” The name comes from the 18th-century secret society that stood against superstition, religious influence in the public life and the state’s abuse of power. The initial group was deemed illegal, along with the Freemasons, vilified and banned.
Ever since then, there’s been no acknowledgement that the group was still active, unlike the Freemasons who publicly admit their existence, although they do continue to keep their secrets close to the vest.
Conspiracy theorists believe that the Illuminati run the world, controlling governments and corporations, leading it all towards the New World Order. This is where we carry on with the second part of our article. The New World Order refers to the creation of a totalitarian world government run by a secretive elite that has a globalist agenda. (If you are a fan of conspiracy theories in general, don’t skip our article on Roswell UFO conspiracy and 5 other alien conspiracy theories, as you will find many interesting things there, too.)
The concept involves the dismembering of states as we know them, to create a global nation run by this restricted number of people. Another theory implies splitting the world in ten, which is a more manageable number to control.
These two notions have been the source of countless conspiracy theories, which is funny because they are conspiracy theories by themselves. So here are 7 theories about the Illuminati and the New World Order.
7. Population control
You know those ten nations that the New World Order would create? Well, they’re still too populated, there are too many people to control. There are currently over 7 billion people in the world and the number keeps growing and growing. The theory says that the powers that would control the New World Order would cull the population to a more manageable 2 billion people.
Among the people remaining would be doctors, engineers, physicists and, of course, politicians. How this would be obtained is still under discussion, but most assume it would have something to do with a virus of some kind, but those people have probably watched one too many apocalypse movies.
The idea of thinning out the world’s population has been playing around in circles for a long time. The number of people populating the Earth is constantly growing, and this endangers the sustainability of the world. After all, one day there will be too many mouths to feed, too little food, too little drinkable water, too little fuel to heat up the homes, and so on. The same theories sustain that by downing the number of people on the Earth, humanity will carry on for far longer.
6. The JFK assassination
The murder of President John F. Kennedy has been subject of plenty of conspiracy theories over the years, with blame for the assassination being passed from one person to the next. Most of this was to blame the fact that Lee Harvey Oswald, the one who was officially named the President’s killer, was murdered not much later after the historic event.
The issues with the JFK murder revolve around the fact that the bullet supposedly didn’t enter the President’s body from the direction where Oswald stood. It is said, however, that the Illuminati were at the root of it all. This is the belief some people have regarding JFK’s assassination, justifying it all by saying the Illuminati want to undermine America.
Under this theory, killing the president makes sense, since without a leader the country was quite shaken. The truth is, however, that we will probably never know who was behind this incident.
5. Apocalypse
The idea that with the come of the New World Order the apocalypse would also come isn’t anything new. Of course, while it may have its roots in the Bible, it doesn’t mean that we’re talking about fire raining down from the Heavens, but it’s still a threshold that would be crossed. After all, the apocalypse signals the end of things as we know them, and technically the New World Order would be just that.
As mentioned, the idea has its roots in the Bible, most believing that a deal has been made with the Devil in order for the right elitist groups to gain enough power to control the world and, through that, to control the masses. After all, why not have control over billions of people after making a few careful moves in the political world and manipulating the right world leaders. That’s the theory at least. An alternative version implies that the world leaders are actually members of the Illuminati to start with, which simplifies the situation some and eliminates the middle man.
4. The famous Illuminati
This seems to be a fan favorite on the Internet, but it seems that truly, the Illuminati is everywhere. Whether we’re talking about politicians, writers, celebrities or artists, everyone is part of the Illuminati.
In fact, there are so many artists nowadays that are said to be part of the Illuminati that the entire “secretive” part of the equation seems to be out the window. Jay-Z, Beyonce, Kanye West, Obama and so on. The list just goes on and on and on, and it makes us all wonder just who isn’t part of the Illuminati at this point. It’s just so crazy, and apparently no one can make any kind of triangle sign or the rock sign or they’re automatically linked to this group of people that may or may not exist.
They’ve apparently been picked up by the Illuminati and out of a desire to join or fear of the consequence they became members, and they’re now spreading the knowledge of the group, making secret hand gestures to signal each other of their position within the Illuminati. It’s just crazy, really.
3. Split the world in ten
The New World Order conspiracy theories indicate that ten nations will become more powerful than the rest, basing it all on some Biblical text. These ten nations would end up working to create the New World Order. Some believe that this is already happening, but they’re 8 nations, not 10, more specifically the G8.
The Group of 8 is a political forum that currently includes France, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, Japan, the United States, Canada and the European Union, although the latter includes a lot of nations. Russia also used to be a member before getting suspended over Crimea Annexation in 2014.
The idea that the world needs to be reorganized has been going on for ages and it wasn’t just conspiracy theories discussing the New World Order either. In fact, the reasons behind this change should be economical and political. A global think tank from the 60s, called the Club of Rome, suggested that the world should be split into 10 regions for best results.
2. Freemasons
It’s not just the Illuminati that are somehow tied to the New World Order, but also the Freemasons. Apparently, if the original secret group of the Illuminati wasn’t actually really active anymore, another would have to do and it just so happens that the Freemasons were available for the role.
Similarly to the Illuminati, the Freemasons have their origins several centuries back and they’ve been subject of various conspiracy theories over the years. Since many people have revealed they are part of the Freemasonry brotherhood, but chose to stay mum on the topic of what exactly they are doing at their meetings, theories run wild on the topic.
This time around, it seems that the Freemasons’ political agenda ends with leading the world as an elite group at the top of the food chain. More importantly, the American Founding Fathers are often tied to Masonry, which makes many believe that the United States is actually a trial for the global project they want to implement.
The various geometric designs that are often associated with Freemasonry are noticed on various things found in the US society, including the one-dollar bill.
1. The Illuminati Assassinations
On top of supposedly having John F. Kennedy killed for various reasons, the Illuminati are also apparently behind many other assassinations, including of various celebrities and famous people. Among them you can find musicians such as Tupac Shakur, Jim Morrison, Michael Jackson, John Lennon and activists such as Malcolm X and Martin Luther King Jr. Even Amy Winehouse and Kurt Cobain are on the list of 10 famous people rumored to have been killed by the Illuminati.
There’s no proof to test this theory but that hasn’t stopped conspiracy theorists from going wild on the subject. Apparently some were killed off to be silenced before they could talk too much on topics the Illuminati didn’t want to reveal to the entire world, while others were so-called blood sacrifices in the name of the secretive group. While this is a pretty far-fetched idea, it doesn’t mean there aren’t plenty of people who believe in these theories, even without any kind of proof. This is one of the 7 theories about the Illuminati and the New World Order.
