There is nothing exciting about this low-end phone except its battery, which has an enormous capacity of 5,000mAh. The massive battery makes the phone look hefty and sturdy. Asus used the Snapdragon 615 chipset, which is old, but the company managed to optimize its battery with software algorithms and features like Asus Mobile Manager, which boosts the battery’s lifecycle. Zenfone Max also has an option to make customized battery saving plans. The phone, however, takes a very long time to get charged to 100%.
