7 Poorest Countries in Asia by 2015 GDP

It is only common that in some continents, there are poor countries as well like the poorest countries in Asia by 2015 GDP. In a very large continent like Asia, it may be expected that all of the countries there will thrive the same way. The results of their GDP have shown otherwise. Some of the countries in Asia are so rich that they are already part of the list of richest countries in the world by 2015 GDP but there are still some countries that are struggling to become better.

There are different reasons why some countries in Asia are not keeping up with other rich Asian countries. One main cause is over population. Asia is overly populated which makes it harder for some families to give the type of lifestyle that can be considered comfortable in their country. Another main problem is corruption. Some countries in Asia are rich in natural resources but are not being given enough attention because the government is corrupt. This ends up with riches not being properly distributed among the citizens.

Some of the countries in the list are still developing which means that they have bigger and better chances of being able to recover from their current problems and improve in the future but there are also some countries on this list that are a long way from having the comfort and luxury that each person deserves. 7. Kyrgyzstan – $2,380

One of the main reasons why this country is finding it hard to improve is because of the natural disasters that affect this country once in a while. Add to the fact that poverty and hunger are two of the main problems of this country. More than half of the citizens of this country are unable to get the proper food that they have to eat throughout the day.

6. Tajikistan – $2,373

From the civil war, the country has never fully recovered. It is unable to return to the country that it was once before the civil war happened. With about half of the population being poor, a lot of people are struggling to have the financial stability that they need in order to feed themselves properly every single day. This country is also prone to different natural disasters that add to its inability to become stable.

5. Yemen – $2,351

Even though this is an Arab country, this is still part of the list of the poorest countries in Asia by 2015 GDP. Most Arab countries are able to get by and are actually doing well because of their natural resources but Yemen is having a lot of trouble trying to keep up with others because of the inability of the government to provide all of the things that the people in Yemen need. There are some programs that give people food but these programs are never enough.

4. Papua New Guinea – $2,283

Even though this country is rich in natural resources, there are still a lot of people who are poor in this country because of the lack of employment opportunities for people who are struggling to find jobs. If the government can only provide the type of opportunities that will benefit the youth, the country will have a new start and it might be able to compete with other countries in Asia who are in the process of developing.

3. Bangladesh – $2,083

The main problem in Bangladesh is the fact that it is overly populated. There is almost not enough space for people who are living in the country to live comfortably. Aside from overpopulation, this country also suffers from various things such as heavy floods that tend to last for days as well as blackouts that can last for days. Corruption in the government must be halted to help Bangladesh reach its full capabilities.

2. Myanmar – $1,711

The fact that this country is highly bankrupt makes it hard for the country to try to rise up from its many problems. Its economy is highly dependent on trade and export but it seems that the funds that it receives for this is not enough to supply the people who are living in Myanmar. If the economy will be managed better, there is still hope for this country.

The main reason why Afghanistan is finding it hard to recover from its current economic problems is because of the war that has plagued the country for years. There are attacks that are being made in Afghanistan without warning and some of its citizens have already gotten accustomed to the attacks. It does not have the right infrastructures to provide help for its people and it also lacks clean water which is one of the most important things that countries should have.
