Curious what the most expensive cars are? Face it, most of us will turn our heads every time we hear a powerful engine roaring on the streets. And even if you might be perfectly satisfied with your family SUV, that doesn’t mean you can dream about owning one of those super sleek, super fast, jaw dropping, and spectacular cars you might see in a James Bond movie.
We have compiled a countdown of the seven most expensive cars in the world. The list is by no means exhaustive, as there are other automobiles, in particular antique cars, that might be sold for more. However, we focused on seven exquisite series models that will blow your mind. Watch and weep.

A car made by Ferrari was bound to be impressive, right? The La Ferrari, “the cheapest” model on our countdown, is probably too much to handle in terms of budget for the average citizen. However, if you can find the means to finance this 789 horsepower masterpiece of a car, hurry up, as only 499 units have been manufactured.

Sweden has more to show off in terms of automobile manufacturing than Volvo. Meet the Koenigsegg Agera R, a beautifully built car with an impressive horsepower of 1,115. It takes just 2.9 seconds for the Agera to go from 0 to 60mph, so if you’re looking for speed (and can afford it), it is certainly the car for you.

When it comes to manufacturing expensive automobiles, Lamborghini knows what it’s doing. The Reventon, one of the company’s newest models, takes its name after a famous fighting bull that competed in Spain during the 1940s.

“Cinque” is Italian for five, and five is the exact number of Pagani Zonda Roadsters manufactured out there. This carbon-fiber super car, with a 678 horsepower, looks nothing if not amazing on the roads.
No. 3: Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse

Price: $2.6 million
Reaching a top speed of 254 mph, the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse is the fastest convertible on the market. If this isn’t fast and furious enough for you, you also have the option of purchasing the Veyron Super Sport, which is also $0.2 million cheaper.
No. 2: Lamborghini Veneno

Price: $4 million
Veneno is the super car Lamborghini produced to commemorate 50 years of automobile manufacturing. How appropriate, wouldn’t you say? This ultra sleek car was produced for a select group, as there are only three models out there.

Price: $8 million
Although not a production car, the Maybach Exelero simply had to be mentioned in our countdown as, after all, it is the single most expensive car currently roaming the streets. Wondering who would pay this staggering amount of money for a car? Apparently, a rapper by the name of Birdman.
