3. Deep Blue Sea
Originally appearing in the Milan Fashion show in 2007, the Deep Blue Sea is inspired by the Australian Great Barrier Reef and is valued at over $890,000. This is because of various gems and opals adorning the 54-cm high women’s hat. During an auction it was appraised at a value of around $200,000 but the hat did not sell. It remains at a display and unsold today.
