These 7 most compact smartphones for people with small hands are definitely easier to handle. Before the era of smartphones, the trend of mobile phones of the time was “the smaller, the better”. The evolution of smartphones in which they’ve become small computers of sorts has increased the demand for larger sizes and especially larger screens. This is one of the reasons we don’t see small phones as often as we did, compared to around 5 years ago. Of course, there are still developers out there that are seeking to take advantage of other companies’ lack of demand awareness for compact phones.

If you have small hands then it is significantly harder to handle all the larger phones and they seem to conflict with the symmetry of your hand size. This is why compact versions have risen up from a few of the popular phones today. Aside from size, weight seems to be one of the other factors that companies should probably be paying attention to. Some models have been made but a lot of them are outdated if you check out our list of 10 Lightweight Cell Phones in the World.
Insider Monkey has gathered and ranked this information based off of information and review website Phone Arena and GSM Arena. Not many sites are compiling phone size today as many developers no longer find size relevant. You’ll notice though that some developers still put their focus on having things compact. Let’s find out more about these 7 most compact smartphones for people with small hands:
7. ZTE Prelude 2
Phone Size – 3.5 inches
The only phone from ZTE to make this list is the Prelude 2. The model boasts a relatively cheaper price compared to competitors and its specs are good for its size. The Prelude 2 promises better specs than its predecessor and even comes with the latest Android OS. The only issue might be that it’s only available in one color.

6. Samsung Galaxy Pocket 2
Phone Size – 3.3 inches
Even the Galaxy series from Samsung decided they should create a compact version of their large phones. Enter the Galaxy Pocket 2 which retains a lot of the design you’d expect from a Galaxy phone albeit with a smaller size. It was released around this time last year so you can expect relatively strong specs.

5. LG L30
Phone Size – 3.2 inches
LG seems to be the developer that’s focusing a lot in terms of size and you’ll find a lot more of their phones in this list. It’s available in various colors though it isn’t really one of the most popular phones among LG’s line-up. The L series seems to be the series of phones focusing on compact size and features.
4. LG L35
Phone Size – 3.2 inches
Released around June last year, the L35 is a successor of sorts to the L30 though the visual and spec difference is quite noticeable. It features a 1.2 GHz processor with 4GB internal storage and 512MB ram which is decent for a phone of its size. Many users like the phone because of its fast responsiveness and good speeds.
Smaller sizes are yet to come. Let’s continue this list of 7 most compact smartphones for people with small hands.
3. LG Optimus L1 II Tri
Phone Size – 3 inches
The LG Optimus was released earlier than the earlier entries in this list and the only advantage this phone may have is its small 3 inch size. Specifications compared to other L series phones are very similar and some users recommend it especially as an entry smartphone. The problem is that its availability may not be as wide as other phones.
2. LG L20
Phone Size – 3 inches
Compared to the other L series phones in this list, L20 is definitely one of the older ones. This is signified by its number and also its visual that looks dated compared to the later L models. It still has similar specs though you may want to consider newer versions if you decide on picking LG up. Nevertheless, this phone paved the way for improvements on following models.
1. Alcatel OneTouch PopFit
Phone Size – 2.8 inches
The most compact phone title goes to Alcatel OneTouch PopFit at 2.8 inches. Alcatel Pop models are known to be small and compact phone models though the PopFit is definitely the smallest one ever made. It’s been available since February last year though the problem now would be its availability in other countries.
This has been the list of 7 most compact smartphones for people with small hands. With current market standards we aren’t too focused on size. Honestly though, some people do have problems when it comes to mobile phone size. If you prefer phones that you can easily grasp, then consider buying a phone from this list.
