We’ve all interacted with a nurse from time-to-time. I try to avoid going to the doctor at all costs, but I always feel so serene when the nurse is around because all they do is take your blood pressure and ask you nice questions and I just feel like I’d die for them. I also have a friend who studied for a really long time to become a nurse. It’s a lot of intense studying just to graduate college and then you have to deal with the NCLEX in order to actually be certified. Thank goodness I was a journalism major, because I hate tests, especially when they’re math and science-related.

Nursing is a job where you have to learn how to deal with sick people and be some source of comfort. It’s satisfying if you love dealing with people and you have an extremely caring heart. I have a caring heart, but a poor immune system; therefore, I’d be really bad at nursing because I would have to call out sick constantly. If you build up your immune system well enough before entering the field, you should have no problem.
