7 Happiest Highest Job Satisfaction Nursing Specialties

Feeling good about your work makes it more enjoyable, which is why we’ve compiled this list of the happiest highest job satisfaction nursing specialties.

We’ve all interacted with a nurse from time-to-time. I try to avoid going to the doctor at all costs, but I always feel so serene when the nurse is around because all they do is take your blood pressure and ask you nice questions and I just feel like I’d die for them. I also have a friend who studied for a really long time to become a nurse. It’s a lot of intense studying just to graduate college and then you have to deal with the NCLEX in order to actually be certified. Thank goodness I was a journalism major, because I hate tests, especially when they’re math and science-related.

Nursing is a job where you have to learn how to deal with sick people and be some source of comfort. It’s satisfying if you love dealing with people and you have an extremely caring heart. I have a caring heart, but a poor immune system; therefore, I’d be really bad at nursing because I would have to call out sick constantly. If you build up your immune system well enough before entering the field, you should have no problem. In my opinion, and from the stories I’ve heard from friends, nurses do all of the grunt work for doctors. They have a lot of responsibilities that most are unaware of, like setting up IVs, checking in on patients frequently, administering medication, and more. If you want to become a more advanced type of nurse, check out the best states for nurse practitioners.

In order to create this list, we used a survey done by nurses by AMN Healthcare, an authority on healthcare professionals and a staffing service based in the US. The survey reveals some very important aspects of the nursing industry, namely the information we’re looking for today. It’s important to feel satisfied in whatever career you’re in so you don’t feel miserable every single time you come to work.
