1. Banjo
Comparing to all other instruments used in jazz music, banjo seems to be among the easiest jazz instruments to learn. Banjo is a typical instrument used in traditional jazz music during the 1920s, where usually instead of a rhythm guitar there is a banjo. We have found some great jazz tenor banjo players to listen to before you decide the banjo is the right instrument for you. Playing banjo has lots of opportunities, whether it is 5 or 4 string banjo, and lots of tunings you can improvise with, so you will never get bored while learning to play banjo for jazz or any other kind of music.
