2. Bass
Bass is one of the most important instruments in a jazz orchestra, being the foundation of music and the baseline of harmonies and melodies. Bass is generally considered to be a relatively easy instrument to learn, and also one of the easiest jazz instruments to learn at the beginning because you will not need much virtuosity, just a great ear and sense of rhythm for a start. Before you pick bass as your preferable instrument, get to know which kind of bass suits you most. Then get some introduction to jazz bass techniques and the rest is practice, practice, practice.
