Aside from Delhi, there are still other places in India wherein the legal drinking age is 25. Some examples are Haryana and Punjab. Aside from that, delivery of alcohol in Delhi is not allowed. People can purchase the alcohol themselves and bring it home if they would want to but they cannot have it delivered like food or other beverages.

Inexperienced people who drink alcohol usually end up having bad experiences. The main reason why some countries with highest drinking age stick up with the rule that they have placed regarding the drinking age is because they believe that with age, people can be more responsible drinkers.
