2. Daimler
Daimler is a German company which, by unit sales, is the thirteenth largest car supplier and the second most prominent truck supplier globally. Daimler also owns multiple car and bus brands including Mercedes-Benz, Tesla Motors, Mercedes-AMG and Maybach. However, it hasn’t all been good for the company, having had an unsuccessful merger with Chrysler which ultimately ended with Chrysler’s bankruptcy.
