To get an extraordinary scenic ride of your life, get up close and personal with wildlife, and spend time with locals, Lake Kariba is the place, actually better yet, a houseboat on Lake Kariba is what you need to experience. 5. Zambezi River

This river stretches to nearly 3,000 kilometers and boasts a host of fish for the picking. Grab a local fisherman to chat up and take you for a day of rewarding catches, especially in the summer months, or just chill out on the riverbanks.

4. Chimanimani Mountains

Intrepid travelers, enjoy. So many outdoor activities can be found here, you might not want to leave if that’s what you seek out. Natural swimming pools to relax in are waiting for you to refresh and rejuvenate after you’ve been hiking, caving, rock climbing, or trekking all day. Camping is available and the Chimanimani village should definitely be visited as well.

 

3. Harare

The bustling capital plays host to a few attractions. One of the world’s largest waterfalls, and arguably one of the most beautiful as well. The Zambezi River is to blame for this forged water display that falls 100 meters below. The flora and fauna in its surroundings make it an every more beautiful attraction and it’s rightfully named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take a swim at the devil’s pool, or plunge down 111 meters off the falls on a bungee cord if you’re that much of an adrenaline junkie.
