Up next on our list we have We are BK, located in Brooklyn on Washington Street. The school offers to teach people how to use studio lighting, to try their hand at that old analog darkroom, how to use Lightroom to edit photographs, or even how to properly use a DSLR to get the best of it.
One of the classes it offers, for instance, is a crash course into night vision. During the session, you’ll get to learn how to use the available light to take the best possible photos by taking advantage of your camera’s many settings. The class costs $75.
Other classes offered at the same rate will have you learning about how to take pictures of still objects, which can be quite great if you plan on using your skill for the advertising business, for instance. Another class will have you spend three hours learning the basics of your camera, namely what all those buttons and dials do, what modes to use, how to control the camera’s exposure and so on.
If you’re more into shooting portraits, that can also be arranged, with the instructor discussing how best to control natural light, how light and shadow affect the dimensions of the human face, and more.
