7. The Pentagon
Some believed that the Pentagon was not hit by a plane, but rather by a missile. Skeptics believe that the major damage that was done to the building was a rather round-shaped hole, which isn’t conclusive with the damage that would have been done by a falling airplane. Conspiracy theory fans believe that plane parts were moved to the Pentagon to make things more believable, basically accusing the authorities of staging the crime scene.
The truth is different, however, as it wasn’t only the plane’s body found there, but also the corpses of the passengers that died in the crash. There are also thousands of witnesses that confess to seeing the plane fly into the Pentagon; it’s not exactly a tiny thing that you can miss. Furthermore, a cover-up of the situation there would have been nearly impossible given the close media attention and the size of the entire operation.
