4. Teacher
A number of retired special forces soldiers move on to teaching careers in public schools. There are programs designed to help them transition to civilian sector as teachers such as the Troops to Teachers program (funded by the Department of Defense). This program is operated by DANTES ( Defense Activities For Non-Traditional Education Support) and it is designed to help service members to find jobs while helping schools to fill vacancies as well. You may need additional education but that depends on the state.
