This is a plant memory foam mattress that’s 14 inches thick. The foam is made out of a blend of bamboo and cotton which is supposed to regulate humidity and heat. This means that you’re always going to sleep on a silky and cool surface, which is something we all look for, especially on those hot summer nights.
Reviewers are quite thrilled with this mattress, saying it offers proper support as it is very firm while still providing the proper plush softness you associate with memory foam. The mattress molds to the body, removing all pressure points and providing a great sleep for users.
The users are also quite happy with the cost of the mattress, and advise others to make sure they leave it to air out for a few days before actually using it, as it is usually instructed with memory foam mattresses. They’re also mentioning that it’s done wonders for their sciatic nerve pain, fibromyalgia and other types of pains related to the backbone.
The Queen version of the Colonial 14 received 5 stars from Choose Mattress and four and a half on Amazon. The list price is of $1,350, but it’s currently cut to only $809.
