Previous experience: not necessarily required, but desirable
People who have seen TV shows about lawyers in court know that public defense is one of many important links in the chain of justice and human rights. Each person who has no money to pay for an attorney is defended by a public attorney, who ranks 5th on our list of easiest fields of law to practice, and who usually does the job for a small amount of money or even pro bono. Although many experienced lawyers claim that a certain level of experience is needed for this type of law practice, it is a good option when you decide to start working in court.
