2. Puerto Escondido
Another spot that is geared towards those who don’t want all the hustle and bustle of a huge holiday hot spot city, but still need their comforts without hurting their wallets. In comes Puerto Escondido. The prices here fit the standard of a beach bum or surfer hippy, so that’s great news. With that said, you can guess what there is to do here. Soak up the Mexican sun, but be sure to lather up on the lotion, it’s hot! If you’re up for it, the surf is great, so hop in. At night, get some cheap eats at a cantina in town.
