6. Gmail
Everyone has an email address and nowadays they’re that much more important even throughout the school years as there are so many assignments that are better to deliver over the Internet, thus eliminating the need to print the paper beforehand.
With this educational suite from Google, however, you don’t even have to use your own personal address. Instead, you get a professional email at your school’s domain, which can be in the format of your name @yourschool.edu, for instance.
There’s also the added benefit of having access to additional storage space across Gmail if your school decides to use Google’s solution. This makes it rather interesting and easier to work with throughout the school year. You won’t have to share your personal email with the class if you don’t want to, but the teacher will still be able to reach you if they need you to modify something in your project and so on.
In short, it raises collaboration between students and teachers to a higher level.
