Founded in 1943, IKEA is a Swedish multinational conglomerate that mainly commercializes furniture and home products. IKEA has a total of 422 shops worldwide, with 70% of them in Europe. The company offers close to 9,500 products spanning many categories, such as furniture, beds and mattresses, storage and organization, home electronics, kitchen and appliances, kitchenware and tableware, bathroom, home decor & improvements, lighting, and home textiles. In 2021, the biggest market for IKEA was Germany accounting for 14.2% of its total sales, followed by the United States with a 13.4% share in the total sales.
