5. Hong Kong
As one of the top 5 most advanced electronic countries, it comes as no shock to find Hong Kong as the largest exporter of electronic integrated circuits. The industry made up 72.5% of the total exports of the country in 2022. Interestingly, this is also the country providing the cheapest electronics.
Bluetrek technologies – distribution of electronic parts and electronic communications equipment and CONNECTEDEVICE — developer of smart watches and connected technology for activity tracking — are two of the prominent manufacturing companies in Hong Kong.

Taiwan’s semiconductor industry has the highest market share in integrated circuit foundry, packaging and testing services, while coming second to the US in design services and a broad market share.
TSMC, chip manufacturer, controls over 50% of the global chip market. They currently manufacture 5 nm chips that are used in devices of companies like Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s products. Foxconn, which is a multinational contract manufacturer of electronics, and Pegatron that develops computing, communications and consumer electronics for branded vendors, are two more of Taiwan’s notable electronics manufacturers.

This is mainly attributed to the vast number of electronics-companies working tirelessly to bring out cutting-edge technologies. Some of these include Nvidia Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA), Apple Inc.
