Brooklyn Metal Works does not need any formal introduction. This art studio and educational institution has been around for quite some time. Although Brooklyn Metal Works is known for its extraordinary jewelry crafting classes, they also teach about metal working. Why you ask? Well jewelry is basically made out of metals, given that gold, silver or platinum is much more pliable than other tougher metals, but the basic principles remain the same. Concept + Fabrication is a highly creative class in the same vein as our previous entry. Here you will learn how to select the right kind of metal for a given object, whether artistic or functional. Also, you will be taught how to design something and how to conceptualize an idea and so on.
