5 Longest Pipelines in the US

2. Keystone Pipeline

Cumulative length of the pipeline in miles (completed projects): 1,853

The pipeline is based not just in the United States but in Canada as well, which was established in 2010 and is one of the most controversial pipelines currently in existence. While it was initially unremarkable and gained little attention, it was when the fourth phase of the pipeline was going to be established, known as Keystone XL, this gained a lot of opposition from environmentalists in the country, which led to President Obama delaying it in 2015, though President Trump unsurprisingly in 2017 began action which would enable the pipeline to be established.
