2. Changhua–Kaohsiung Viaduct

Changhua–Kaohsiung Viaduct is the second longest bridge in the world with a total length of 157.32 km (97.75 miles). The bridge is part of the Taiwan High Speed Rail network railway line and extends from Changhua County to Kaohsiung, along the west coast of Taiwan. The railway line comprises of a large number of viaducts and bridges and has been built to withstand significant seismic shocks, a necessity owing to the location.
