3. Kita–Yaita Viaduct

Ranked third on our list, the Kita-Yaita Viaduct is a railway bridge that connects Kita and Yaita cities in Japan. The bridge has a total length of 114.4 km (71.1 miles) and was completed in 1982. The bridge is part of the Tohoku Shinkansen high speed railway line which connects Tokyo with Aomori in Aomori Prefecture. The railway line is operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East) and spans nearly 675 km.
