Podravka d.d. is a Croatian food company based in the country’s capital, Koprivnica. Founded in 1934, it is presently one of the largest food companies in Southeast Europe. The company produces and distributes many kinds of spices, condiments, soups, jams, and packaged food such as lentils and canned chickpeas. The most widely known spice by Podravka is its Vegeta, a spice mix made of salt, other spices, and dried vegetables, that can be used as an all-purpose seasoning for savory food. Podravka distributes its products to more than 50 countries across the globe, such as Australia, Armenia, Bosnia, Italy, Switzerland, Russia, and the United States. The company reported revenues of $537.4 million in 2020. The company ranks 2nd in the list of the largest spice companies in the world.
