5. Del Amo Fashion Center

Retail Space: 2.5 million Square Feet

Del Amo Fashion Center is the fifth largest shopping center in the United States. It is located in Torrance, California. It has 2.5 million square feet of retail space and features 255 outlets as of 2022. It originally had 9 anchor tenants but two are vacant as of late. 

Simon Property Group has a 50% ownership stake in the mall, with the rest of the 50% evenly divided between JPMorgan Fleming Funds and Farallon Cap Mgt.

4. South Coast Plaza

South Coast Plaza is the fourth largest mall in the United States, with a gross leasable area of 2.7 million square feet. It has 280 retail outlets including 5 anchor tenants, one of which is vacant as of 2022. 

The mall is owned by the Segerstrom Family. Its popular stores include Macy’s, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom and Bloomingdale.

King of Prussia Mall is the third biggest and one of the most prominent malls in the US. It is located in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, and is owned by the Simon Property Group. King of Prussia Mall has a retail space of 2.8 million square feet. It has 450 retail outlets in total as of 2022. Some of its anchors include Macy’s, Primark and Nordstrom.

American Dream is the second biggest mall in the United States. It is located in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
