Sanofi is a pharma giant headquartered in Paris and is one of the biggest biotech companies in the world. In fact, it is the largest vaccines manufacturer in the world, and has currently partnered with GSK to find a cure for the Covid-19 vaccine. In fact, it along with GSK has signed an agreement with the US government under Operation Warp Speed to provide the country with 100 million doses of the vaccine if one is successful for a total of $2.1 billion. However, it is lagging behind other companies in this regard with companies such as Pfizer and AstraZeneca announcing successful results from their trials.
