2. The City College of New York
The City College of New York that ranked 2nd on the list of free GED programs in and around NYC for adults was founded in 1847. Their aim is for the community to easily access education to be transformed into someone ready to face the opportunities that await. CCNY wants to mold their students to be equipped with knowledge and skills through research and creativity. An orientation and entrance exam required for students who want to sign up for the free high school equivalency classes.
