5. Chain Link Fence
This is a great option for your blacktop basketball courts or New York City playgrounds. Also good for hiding a terrifying dog protecting junkyards across the country. This type of fence is very versatile. For a chain link fence you will need the wires, premixed cement–which will go in the holes on the ground for the line posts and terminal posts support– and fence mesh, which is sold in rolls. For the number 5 fence on our list of easiest fences to install yourself you will also need line posts which are set at intervals of 5-6 feet between the terminal posts and are usually a few inches shorter than terminals. You will need tension bars, which are flat pieces of galvanized steel and are usually attached to the terminal posts, rail caps, top rail. You also need tension wire which is pulled through the wire mesh at the ground level to keep it tight. Lastly, you will need post caps to cover the corners and protect them from rain falling into the post.
