Up next in our list of easiest celebrities to impersonate is Courtney, who is well known for three things: Being the lead singer of Hole, a grunge rock band from the 90’s; marrying blow-your-brains-out gorgeous Nirvana frontman, Kurt Cobain; and over time, becoming a middle-aged mess. While in her youth, she was a pale, pink-cheeked, platinum blond, rocking cherub, after her husband’s suicide, she began to lose her way, getting tons of plastic surgery and becoming one of those celebrities who go through relapse after relapse, and provide the media with tons of drunken scandals. She’s also acknowledged for her performance in some Hollywood movies, such as Man on the Moon, and the acclaimed TV show Sons of Anarchy. One thing clear though: She’s a true rock star.
Personality trademark: What I believe to be a personal distinctive for Courtney is her rough, low-key voice. It’s probably what you’d sound like if you spent a snowy night in the open, naked, screaming at the top of your lungs. Another tip to look genuine would be to raise some hell, just appear to be wasted and flash people your panties.
Style and clothing: If you’re going for her classic 90’s look, I’d opt for a girly dress, red lipstick, lots of eyeliner, busted pantyhose, and combat boots. This is actually called the “kinderwhore” look, which Courtney was accused of stealing from Babes in Toyland lead singer, Kat Bjelland.
Props: A blonde wig is essential, because you don’t want to do that to your hair; also, having a vodka bottle to wave around might be helpful.
