Mexico is the country that exports the most beer in the world, shipping out twice as much beer as any other country and single-handedly accounting for 30.3% of the world’s entire export-beer market – meaning that 3 out of 10 beers exported globally are produced in Mexico.

Some of the best and most popular beers in the world originate from Mexico and the country accounts for nearly 79% of the overall U.S. beer imports, up from a mere 17% in the 1990’s. In the recent months, nearly 97% of the total Mexican beer exports flowed to its northern next-door neighbor.
