Frozen Bovine Meat Exports in 2021: $6.9 billion

The Federative Republic of Brazil is a Latin and Central American country. It relies on natural resources and agricultural products for most of its exports, but at the same time, also has a strong industrial and technological base. Some famous Brazilian beef cuts are Fraldinha, Alcatra, and Cupim. Brazil’s JBS S.A. (OTCMKTS:JBSAY) is one of the largest beef companies in the world, with subsidiaries in major markets such as the U.S. and Canada. After JBS, the second largest Brazilian beef company is Marfrig Global Foods S.A. (OTCMKTS:MRRTY). Frozen beef exports were the dominant bovine exports in 2021, with fresh beef clocking in $996 million and making Brazil the tenth largest exporter instead.
