The Commonwealth of Australia is the largest country in the Australian continent. Beef is one of the largest agricultural industries in the country, and Australia also has the world’s largest cattle station – the Anna Creek Station in South Australia. Like in New Zealand, most of the Australian cattle is also grass fed. One of Australia’s largest beef companies is the North Australian Pastoral Company (NAPCO) with thousands of animals in its herd. Alongside $4.1 billion of frozen beef, the country also exported $2.9 billion of fresh beef in 2021. Its largest trading partner was China.
