If the data was generated after March 2013 and was for a cosmetics application, L’Oréal cannot retain the ingredient. 1. Neuralink

Topping the list of the 15 companies that still test on animals in 2022, is Elon Musk’s Neuralink. Elon Musk likes to maraud as the savior of humanity and his latest attempt is a company which is involved in “developing ultra high bandwidth brain-machine interfaces to connect humans and computers”, according to the company website. The company has hired several high-profile neuroscientists, with the company’s tech being conducted on monkeys and pigs in addition to other animals. Allegations of abuse in the name of animal testing started plaguing the company from early 2022, and in December, reports indicated that the company is under investigation by the United States Department of Agriculture. Considering how many companies still engage in animal testing, the fact that Neuralink is under government investigation does not bode well for the company.
