With 123 bars and pubs on TripAdvisor, Liverpool ranks 3rd in our list. Over the years, Liverpool has had the fortune to boast a variety of pubs and taverns, renowned for serving up drinks and smiles in abundance. In fact, the legendary Beatles also made their debut in 1961 in one of these localities, called The Cavern Club.

It was reported in May that the city’s landmark Royal Albert Dock has been sold for $51.7 million to make way for new bars and restaurants.

Liverpool is also the city with the most pubs per square mile in the country, while Jamaica is the country with the most pubs and bars per square mile in the world.
