5. Westfield Centro

Location: Oberhausen, Germany.

Total Floor Area: 242,000

Westfield Centro is located in Oberhausen, Germany. It is the largest mall in Germany and the fifth on the list of biggest malls in Europe. It is the Oberhausen-branch of malls owned by Westfield Corporation. It is spread across an area of 242,000 square meters. The mall’s total retail space is 125,000 square meters. It has a parking space for 14,000 cars.

The mall features 250 stores from companies like Apple, Adidas, LEGO, Lacoste and Levi’s. Westfield Centro’s attractions include Sea Life Aquarium, Legoland and König Pilsener Arena. The mall attracts 15 million visitors on average annually.

4. Respublika Park

Location: Kyiv, Ukraine.

Located in Kyiv, Respublika Park is the biggest mall in Ukraine and one of the largest in Europe. Respublika Park currently has 117 retail stores with room for over 350 more. 3. MEGA Belaya Dacha

MEGA Belaya Dacha is another mall from MEGA Family Shopping Center. MEGA Belaya Dacha is located in Kotelniki, Russia, and has a total floor area of 304,000 square meters. 

The mall’s gross leasable area is a little over 221,000 square meters. It currently has 320 stores and 9,100 parking spaces. It also offers various restaurants and leisure/entertainment services like cinema.

Aviapark is the largest mall in Russia and the second biggest mall in all of Europe. It is situated in the Khoroshyovsky district of Moscow. The mall has a total floor area of 390,000 square meters. Out of the total area, 230,000 square meters is reserved for retail outlets. 

It had over 500 shops as of 2021. However, many western brands started leaving as the war in Ukraine raged on. The mall’s anchor tenants prior to the war included OBI, H&M, IKEA, Sephora, Stockmann and Auchan. All anchors, with the exception of the French retailer Auchan, have left the country. 

The mall is globally recognized for its 73 feet tall, four-story aquarium, which acts as one of its main attractions.

İstanbul Cevahir, with its total floor area of 420,000 square meters, is the largest mall in Europe. The mall has allocated 110,000 square meters exclusively for retail stores and features 343 shops. Some of the noteworthy shops include Puma, Reebok, Adidas, Levi’s and ZARA. 

It features 48 restaurants and cafes. Some famous ones include McDonald’s, KFC, Burger King, Starbucks and Pizza Hut. As for leisure and entertainment, the mall has 12 cinemas, a bowling hall and a roller coaster. It is located in İstanbul, Türkiye.
