Jose Cuervo, one of the oldest and most well-known tequila brands in the world, was founded in 1795 by José María Guadalupe de Cuervo. The brand  has been in the tequila game for more than 250 years and is recognized as the first tequila brand to bottle the spirit individually. It is offered in lower-end varieties, in addition to traditional plata, reposado, and añejo, and a premium Reserva de la Familia line which includes platino, reposado, and extra añejo.
